NAME: Quint Forgey

SCHOOL: Louisiana State University

BEFORE NEWS21: I’m the news editor of Louisiana State University’s award-winning, 128-year-old student newspaper, The Daily Reveille.

WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON?: I’m investigating an obscure set of laws passed in the late ‘70s and early ‘80s regarding medical marijuana. I’m also looking at racial disparities in marijuana arrests in specific communities.

FUN FACT: At 19, I’m the youngest fellow here. I’m also known as “Sweet Tater” by my sources in South Carolina and “Remington Steele” in Louisiana.
