Meet the Fellows: Michael Bodley

NAME: Michael Bodley

SCHOOL: Elon University, senior

BEFORE NEWS21: I crunched numbers for The Baltimore Sun as a business reporting intern, covering everything from earnings reports to minimum wage issues for giant retailers. At Elon, I serve as editor-in-chief of the university’s Pacemaker-winning newspaper, The Pendulum.

WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON? I’m building off of my business reporting experience to tackle the emerging marijuana industry in a financial light – paying particular attention to the intersection of policy and the workforce.

FUN FACT: Standing at 6-foot-5, I’m the tallest fellow of the bunch – and, no, the world doesn’t look a whole lot different up here. Give me the occasional reminder to duck through the dangerously short doorway, and we’ll be just fine.
