NAME: Josh Benson

SCHOOL: University of Missouri, graduate student

BEFORE NEWS21: I spent the last 16 months working on my master’s degree and completing a research assistantship with Investigative Reporters and Editors. During that time, I covered various beats for the Columbia Missourian and contributed to a Washington Post investigation of shaken baby syndrome.

WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON? I’m looking into investigations involving Washington state, law enforcement efforts and data. Lots and lots of data.
