NAME: Calah Kelley, Knight Foundation Fellow

SCHOOL: University of North Texas, 2015 graduate

BEFORE NEWS21: I have worked as a reporter, news director, videographer and producer for the North Texas Daily news station at the University of North Texas. I served as president and founder of the university’s chapter of the Broadcast Education Association. I also was one of six students selected for a CBS fellowship in New York City in 2014.

WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON?  I’m looking into parents who advocate medical cannabis for their sick children.

FUN FACT:  I love pink! I wear something pink nearly every day. Everything I own is pink: My phone case, water bottle, bed sheets, towels and shower cap.
